1. Gather your materials.

2. Remove the keypad from the wall.

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the keypad to the wall. Carefully pull the keypad away from the wall, being careful not to damage the wires.

3. Locate the programming button.

The programming button is usually located on the back of the keypad. It is a small, black button that is labeled "Prog" or "Program.

4. Press and hold the programming button.
