How to replace the battery in your MyQ garage door sensor

Remove the sensor from the garage door. The sensor is held in place by two screws. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and then lift the sensor off of the door.
Open the battery compartment. The battery compartment is located on the back of the sensor. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the battery compartment door in place. Then, lift the door off of the sensor.
Replace the battery. The battery is a CR2032 coin cell battery. Remove the old battery and insert the new battery into the compartment. Make sure that the positive (+) terminal of the battery is facing up.
Close the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw to hold it in place.
Reattach the sensor to the garage door. Align the sensor with the holes in the door and then tighten the screws to hold it in place.
