Installation Requirements

Before you begin the installation process, ensure you have the following tools and materials:

Two 1-inch screws *

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Prepare Your Garage: Unplug your existing garage door opener from the power outlet. Disconnect the wires from the opener terminals. Make sure the area where you will install the Smart Garage Control is clear of any obstacles.

2. Mount the Smart Garage Control: Find a suitable location for the Smart Garage Control on the ceiling or wall of your garage. Use the included screws to mount the device securely. If you are mounting on drywall, you may need to use a hammer to drive the screws in.

3. Connect the Wires: Reattach the wires from the garage door opener terminals to the corresponding terminals on the Smart Garage Control. Make sure the wires are securely fastened. Plug the Smart Garage Control into the power outlet.

4. Complete the Installation: Press the "Learn" button on the Smart Garage Control. The LED light on the device will flash. Follow the prompts in the Chamberlain MyQ app to pair your smartphone or tablet with the Smart Garage Control.
