4. Remove the Old Spring:

5. Install the New Spring:
Position the new spring in the same orientation as the old one. Connect one end of the spring to the bracket using the supplied bolts. Do not tighten the bolts completely at this stage.
6. Wind the Spring:
Insert the winding bar into the dedicated hole on the spring. Slowly turn the bar clockwise to wind the spring. The number of turns required will vary depending on the spring's size and the door's weight. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific guidance.
7. Secure the Spring:
Once the spring is wound to the appropriate tension, tighten the bolts that secure it to the bracket. Ensure that the spring is securely fastened.
8. Repeat for the Other Spring:
If the garage door has two springs, repeat the above steps for the second spring.
9. Test the Door:
Reconnect the power to the garage door opener and operate the door several times to ensure smooth and balanced operation.
10. Adjust the Tension (Optional):
If the door is not opening or closing properly, you may need to adjust the spring tension. Tighten the bolts on the bracket if the door is too heavy, or loosen them if the door is too light.
