The garage was originally named the Pittsburgh Convention Center Parking Garage. In 2003, the garage was renamed the David Lawrence Convention Center Parking Garage in honor of former Pittsburgh mayor David L. Lawrence.
Renovation
The David Lawrence Convention Center Parking Garage underwent a major renovation in 2016. The renovation was designed to improve the garage's aesthetics, functionality, and safety. The renovation included the following improvements:
