Safety Precautions

Before you begin, disconnect the power to your garage door opener.
Make sure that the garage door is closed and locked.
Wear safety glasses and gloves when working on your garage door opener.

Step 1: Install the Mounting Bracket

Choose a location for the mounting bracket that is at least 6 inches from the edge of the garage door and 12 inches from the ceiling.
Mark the location of the mounting holes on the ceiling.
Drill pilot holes for the mounting screws.
Mount the universal mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws.

Step 2: Install the Garage Door Opener
