Garage Oil American Badass Whiskey
Garage Oil American Badass Whiskey is a high-octane blend of straight bourbon whiskeys aged for a minimum of six years in charred American oak barrels. It is bottled at 100 proof and has a suggested retail price of $29.99 for a 750ml bottle.
The whiskey was created by Garage Brewing Co., a craft brewery in Portage, Michigan. The brewery was founded in 2006 by a group of friends who were passionate about craft beer. In 2018, the brewery expanded into spirits production with the launch of Garage Oil Whiskey.
Garage Oil American Badass Whiskey is made from a blend of 60% corn, 30% rye, and 10% malted barley. The mash is fermented with a proprietary yeast strain and then double-distilled in copper pot stills. The whiskey is then aged for a minimum of six years in charred American oak barrels.
Garage Oil American Badass Whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of caramel, vanilla, and oak. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, with a lingering hint of charred oak.
Garage Oil American Badass Whiskey is a versatile whiskey that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. It is also a great choice for cooking, adding a rich and smoky flavor to dishes.
