Step 1: Prepare the Installation Site

Choose a location for the garage door opener that allows for proper operation and access to the electrical panel. Measure the distance between the opener and the header angle of the garage door, ensuring it is within the recommended range for your opener model.

Step 2: Install the Mounting Bracket

Mark the mounting bracket location on the ceiling using the included template. Drill pilot holes and secure the bracket with included bolts. Ensure the bracket is level and centered.

Step 3: Assemble the Operator

Attach the motor assembly to the mounting bracket and use the included bolts to secure it. Install the drive chain or belt onto the motor gear. Connect the electrical wires according to the provided wiring diagram.

Step 4: Mount the Operator

Lift the operator and align it with the mounting bracket. Secure it using the provided bolts. Connect the assembled operator to the electrical panel and power it on. Release the operator's manual release to engage the drive system.

Step 5: Install the Header Bracket

Measure the distance from the edge of the header angle to the center of the opener operator. Transfer this measurement to the header angle and mark the location for the header bracket. Attach the bracket and secure it with included bolts.

Step 6: Mount the Travel Module

Align the travel module with the header bracket and secure it with included bolts. The module should be positioned so that the sensing arm extends towards the garage door.

Step 7: Install the Remote Control

Follow the instructions in the provided user manual to program the remote control. The remote should be able to operate the garage door opener from a distance.

Step 8: Test the Functionality

Operate the garage door opener using the remote control and manually check its operation. Ensure it opens and closes smoothly and stops at the appropriate limits. If any adjustments are needed, refer to the troubleshooting tips in the user manual.
