Reprogram Liftmaster Remote Garage Door Opener

If you need to reprogram your Liftmaster remote garage door opener, you can do so by following these steps:

Step 1: Gather your materials

You will need the following materials:

Your Liftmaster remote garage door opener
A ladder
A Phillips head screwdriver

Step 2: Locate the learn button

The learn button is usually located on the back of the motor unit. It is a small, black button that is recessed into the housing. On some models, there may be two buttons. Locate the bigger one from the two buttons.

Step 3: Open the motor unit

Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the motor unit in place. Carefully lift the motor unit off of the mounting bracket.
