How To Program A Liftmaster Remote Garage Opener

LiftMaster remote garage door openers are a convenient and secure way to open and close your garage door. They are easy to program and can be used with up to three different garage doors. To program a LiftMaster remote garage door opener, you will need the following:

A LiftMaster remote garage door opener
A ladder
A Phillips head screwdriver

To program a LiftMaster remote garage door opener, follow these steps:

Start by disconnecting the power to your garage door opener. This can be done by turning off the circuit breaker or unplugging the unit.
Once the power is disconnected, use a ladder to reach the back of the garage door opener. Locate the Learn button, which is usually a small, black button.
Press and hold the Learn button for 2 seconds. The LED light on the back of the garage door opener will start to flash.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote control that you want to program. The LED light on the back of the garage door opener will stop flashing when the remote is programmed.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each additional remote control that you want to program.
Once all of the remotes are programmed, reconnect the power to the garage door opener. The garage door opener will now be able to be operated with the programmed remotes.
